Great place to watch a Raptors game if you get a chance to sit haha. Super Cheap beer @ 16 bucks a pitcher which serves 3 glasses. - Stout (amber ) or Blonde :8 Good music, well maintained washrooms. This is really a good place to chill out of you start at 6 ! Hard to get a place to sit post 8 ! Reply love the shadyness and the raw feel of this place. No food it's BYOF ! Get a pizza from 2 shops down or order from uber eats ! Just inform the server ;) Love this place This is my second time here
Hands down best dive bar in the city - Bartenders are super friendly, music is top notch, and always an amazing atmosphere every time i walk in! Highly recommend checking this place out if you haven't already!
I had a blast at Wide Open, the dive bar located on Spadina Avenue. My friends and I decided to pop in around 1 AM on a Friday night, and boy, were we in for a treat! The bar was packed with people, and the energy in the place was infectious. The vibe was simply amazing, and the music selection was on point. The staff at Wide Open were incredibly friendly and added to the already fantastic atmosphere. Their warm demeanor made us feel right at home, and it was evident that they genuinely cared about making sure everyone was having a great time. The only minor drawback was that the bar is quite narrow, making it a little challenging to navigate when it's packed. But honestly, it didn't detract from the overall experience. If you're in the Spadina Avenue area, I highly recommend checking out Wide Open. The fantastic music, friendly staff, and vibrant atmosphere make it a must-visit spot for a fun night out. Just be prepared for the crowd, and you're in for an unforgettable time.
Wide Open is a great spot for a lovely pint and shot of whisky or even a practical mixed drink. You'll run into all sorts of industry people, as well as Jay's fans. They offer daily specials on beer and shots, great place to Settle in after a hard night's work. Don’t expect any food at this place; instead, come for the drinks and stay for the atmosphere, camaraderie, laughs, and good times and always Shannon and her crew will tend to all your alcohol needs!
Phil is the man!! We stopped in for a drink last night, and had such a wonderful time chatting with Phil and learning about the area. Great music and great service. Local vibe for sure. Will absolutely be coming back. Reminded us of home here.
Amazing place. Very helpful doorman. Refused entry to some guy with his ugly girlfriend. Guy was clearly drunk and his girl looked like a linebacker w a wig on. Would recommend. Great atmosphere.
